Fox Road Cabins offers guests what we call "5 Star Rustic". It is a blend of well appointed luxury hotel-like accommodations with rustic country charm. These beautiful Southern Indiana Cabins are located in Daviess County half way between the cities of Washington & Jasper. Our log cabins are situated on the edge of Coopemmadi Lake. Coopemmadi Lake is our private, stocked, 18 acre fishing lake, just 12 miles from Washington Indiana and 2 miles from Dogwood Lake and the Glendale Fish and Wildlife Area.

The area boasts countless recreational activities, and its well known hunting and fishing opportunities abound. The many lakes and ponds are home to largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish. Indiana Hunters find game including deer, quail, rabbit, squirrel, dove, and wild turkey, or the excitement of waterfowl and pheasant hunts. Every fall the Glendale Fish & Wildlife Area hosts a Put-n-Take Pheasant Hunt which draws hunters from far & wide.

Along with phenomenal sporting and nature activities, Daviess County is known for its history, rich in Amish Culture. Nearly 650 Old Order Amish families make their homes here, and offer tours, restaurants and auctions to experience the Amish way of life.

• 1½ mile scenic walking trail around lake (under construction)
