The many lakes and ponds are home to catfish, crappie, bluegill, redear and largemouth bass. Indiana Hunters find game including deer, quail, rabbit, squirrel, snipe, dove, woodcock, and wild turkey, or the excitement of waterfowl and pheasant hunts.

Along with phenomenal sporting and nature activities, Daviess County is known for its history, rich in Amish Culture. Nearly 650 Old Order Amish families make their homes here, and offer tours, restaurants and auctions to experience the Amish way of life.
